  • Directly supervisors tank cleaning crews
  • Responsible for satisfying all Health, Safety and Environmental regulations including Confined Space Entry
  • Perform administrative duties including production paperwork using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook programs.
  • Communicates with client including project scope, cost, quality parameters and schedule
  • Develops Health, Safety and Environmental plan in addition to a work plan for each project
  • Assess jobs and perform safety audits as required
  • Conduct daily Safety Meetings with work crew and document
  • Ensure job trailer is properly stocked for each project
  • Ensure job trailer is maintained in a neat and organized fashion
  • Prepare Confined Space Entry permits and ensure acceptable entry conditions
  • Update the work order as the job progresses
  • Ensure all client contact is handled in a professional manner, including crew appearance and demeanor
  • Works with Maintenance Manager to ensure job truck, trailer and equipment are properly maintained and ready for use
  • Ensure all required documentation associated with the truck and trailer is present in the vehicles before departure
  • Ensure all equipment is inspected prior to use and required documentation completed including; AM-AJ Checks F-550 Ford, AM-AJ Checks Tank Cleaning Trailer, Housekeeping Forms, Miles and Hours Reports for Maintenance, Tank Job Post Completion Checklist
  • Travel as necessary to complete projects, typically 1 – 2 weeks in duration but sometimes longer

Relocation is available for this position


  • High school graduate or GED
  • Basic chemistry a plus
  • Some college or technical school preferred
  • Knowledge of general OSHA Health and Safety as well as EPA regulations
  • 5 Years hand on above ground storage tank cleaning experience including understanding of piping, pump, and tank configurations
  • Class B CDL a plus
  • Must have experience in confined space, confined space rescue, DOT hazardous materials shipper training, hazardous materials
  • Experience managing personnel and projects
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Good mechanical aptitude

  • Self-discipline and motivation
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to interact with customers
